Thanks for these preliminary results. I am really surprised by the outcome of 8 out 10 bloggers being male. It is quite at odds with my prejudices.

By the way: why were you not surprised all three technology focussed bloggers are male? I for one was.

male vs. female
Like I said, i think the 8 out of 10 does not really represent Indonesia´s bloggers as a whole. from what bloggers have told me, this ratio should be around 50/50. However, I´ve been told there´s a thematic difference in male vs. female blogs. Female: family, movies, music, cooking... male: technology, gadgets, current events, politics... of course I have found exceptions to this rule, for example irha´s blog on http://irhapunya.wordpress.com, just to name one. But this 'stereotypical' segregation seems to exist. Or have you found any counter-evidence? ;o)
